The construction holds a silhouette that operates simultaneously as a mini dress and a draped column — structure and movement in deliberate tension.

Vaccarello succeeded Hedi Slimane as creative director of Saint Laurent in April 2016. His debut collection marked a return to the house's grounding in extreme femininity and Parisian couture sensibility, reintroducing draped jersey, lamé, and sensual tailoring as the central vocabulary of the house after Slimane's rock-inflected tenure.
