Graduated onyx beads, warm gold rondelle spacers, and a sculptural snake-link clasp — a design from Yves Saint Laurent's 1980s accessories output that belongs to a documented family of bead necklaces from the house, produced in this decade in multiple stone colorways. Built on repetition and material weight: round bead after round bead, broken only by the gold spacers and the architectural hook closure.

Signed with YSL's oval cursive tag, the piece reflects the house's approach to accessories in this period: taking a simple material — stone beads — and giving it considered presence through scale, rhythm, and finish. The clasp mechanism has been professionally restored to address age-related oxidation; all beads and spacers are original and untouched.
