Vintage Christian Dior Gray Tweed Blazer, 1980s to Early 1990s

A single-breasted blazer in a flecked gray tweed woven from black, white and navy yarns. It has a notched lapel, padded shoulders and a long, easy body. Two smoky-gray buttons close the front, with flapped hip pockets and a welted chest pocket.

Christian Dior opened his house in Paris in 1946 and carried its name from couture into tailored separates. The Paris and New York label marks this blazer as a piece of the house’s tailoring from the 1980s to the early 1990s.
