Vintage Ralph Lauren Purple Label Charcoal Rope Stripe Blazer, 2000s
A notch-lapel blazer in charcoal twill with a white rope stripe. The stripe is woven into the diagonal ground and steps like twisted rope. Two-button front with a welt chest pocket, stacked double flap pockets at the left hip and a single flap pocket at the right.
Ralph Lauren introduced Purple Label in 1994 as the highest tier of the house, taking its cues from Savile Row bespoke tailoring in both cloth and construction. By the 2000s the line had settled into a consistent language of restrained pattern and precise cut.
100% Wool. Lined in rayon. Tailored in Italy. Excellent vintage condition.
